Chris and his guys are THE BEST. Hands down. They can do anything. Are fast, kind, and just so easy to work with. I call Chris for anything I need around my home inside or out.

Chris has done a number of project for us and we will always continue to use him for any of home improvement needs. He is one of the only true hardworking and trustworthy home improvement gurus left. With our recent project, Chris was able to save a portion of our deck while giving it a much needed facelift. Call him...you won't be disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Chris Burque and American Made Home Improvement for a second time to close my front porch, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. One of the standout aspects of Chris and his company is their commitment to delivering exceptional quality. American Made Home Improvement takes great pride in its work, which is clearly reflected in the final product. In addition to the outstanding quality, the cost was very reasonable. His quote for the first visit, to install the windows, was so reasonable that I did not even ask for a quote for the second visit (putting me in hot water with the chief of household financing), which was to frame the gable and do the exterior siding. To sum it up, Chris and his team delivered a high-quality finished product at a reasonable and fair price, overwhelming me with joy and peace of mind. Thank you, Chris and team, for making my closed-in porch vision a reality!

Highly recommend. We are new to the area, so it's good to know reliable, friendly, super handy connections. He helped me stop my fridge from leaking (WHAT a relief!) and fixed a light that kept shorting out. To top it off, super reasonable on price too. Chris came highly recommended by my real estate agent. Now he will be my GO TO Handyman!

Chris was very attentive to our wishes and did exactly what he said from start to finish. He and his crew were always punctual and hard working. Our floors look fabulous. Chris, Randy and Justin installed our floors with the same care they would have used to install their own. The quality of their work is nothing but professional. The pay was a great value for the excellent craftsmanship we received.

They remodeled my bathroom in less time than quoted. It turned out beautiful. Saved my floor so I didnt have to replace it. Couldn't be happier!

Chris has been great from the very first phone call. My Quonset hut home project is a little out of the ordinary but Chris and his crew have been up to the task. Communicating clearly about the job and scheduling, doing a great job and keeping the job site clean and cared for, communicating any issues that have needed to be addressed and making sure all the work is professional and up to county code. I am a retired Master Sergeant of 25 years in the US Army. Christopher Bourque was referred to me by my original contractor, Scotty Day now full time pastor and current employer of Talbot’s, for the completion of my house. From the first contact with Chris and our first walk thru of my property, Chris was very knowledgeable and professional. He referred me to his website and showed me more jobs on his phone and stated if I need a reference he could provide a list. His tool bag includes plenty of subcontractors that have worked for him in more than one job, engineers who he will not hesitate to call, continuously making himself smart by going to building seminars, researching new products and techniques online and his vast networking system that he has built up over the years. One of these is his retired uncle, Johnny, with over 40 years of experience which includes being the lead at several large construction companies. He works and mentors Chris on some projects. All were demonstrated in the first two jobs I had him complete, framing my basement and opening up the kitchen, dining room and living room by knocking out 5 walls. After he completed these, I went back thru my punch list with him and offered him any jobs he would like to complete. He ended up taking all except the roof and siding due to timeline and work required up to 30ft high. I mentioned I had gotten a quote from a construction firm out of Raleigh. He stated he could do it all but it would prolong the timeline I was trying to meet and it would not bother him if I hired them. Chris and Johnny just completed the framing of a huge deck project where once again he knocked it out of the park. He steered me towards Tommy who did the footings and concrete slab for the deck. Tommy completed the task with the same high standards as Chris. Chris even assisted on it when Tommy needed it; further educating himself and ensuring the timeline would be met. All his prices have been fair and quality of work excellent.

Chris is my preferred contractor for all my real estate and personal home needs. From his quality of work to competitive pricing he is hands down my one and only go to person.

Chris and all of his employees did a great job on my roof and repairing bathroom fan vent also new ceiling in my hallway removing plaster and installing new ceiling (not plaster) installed new lighting in the hallway. I will for sure be calling Chris back to do many projects. Thank You Chris and crews!!!

Chris and team were awesome! We had huge drafts coming through gaps in four exterior doors due to poor construction. He was able to shim and re-weather strip each door, sometimes having to remove the whole door and frame. After his work, there is no air flowing through the gaps, which will help our electric bill immensely. Very professional and knowledgeable! We plan to use American Made for future renovations as well!

We contacted American Made regarding exterior door replacements. Chris promptly came out to look at the job. He gave us a free estimate, which we accepted. He kept us informed during the whole process, and sent us pictures of doors to choose from. He worked with our schedule to pick a day to install them. He even went the extra step to repair a soft spot in flooring due to water damage. He had to come out on Saturday to finish the trim work due to weather conditions. We are extremely satisfied with his craftsmanship, and the doors look great. We look forward to working with him in the future.

They came immediately after I called. Installed a privacy screen and put up hook hangers in my backyard. Super reasonably priced, worked fast. He could have just use the screws that it came with but kindly advised they would not work well and used his own Supply. I highly recommend!

Chris @ American Made Home Improvements sincerely made my children's year!! With gyms and sport events closed temporarily right now, they really wanted to engage in playing basketball. Chris responded same day to our inquiry and two days later our new basketball goal was built and ready for a family game of basketball before noon! Highly recommended and will be our go to again!!
